İZBAŞ IZMIR, the city's pride wastewater treatment plant

İZBAŞ İzmir is another wastewater treatment plant designed by DeltAcque thanks to which the smell problem was solved.

The İZBAŞ İzmir Free Zone, which has attracted the attention of national and foreign investors with its infrastructure, quality of service, advantages, adequacy of investment costs in recent years, met its stakeholders at the "İZBAŞ 2019" event.
For the occasion, Eyüp Sevimli, the chairman of the board of directors, announced that the recent inspections carried out by the Ministry of the Environment have been successful.

The structure, at the forefront of wastewater treatment for leather and chemistry industry, has a capacity of 9000 m³ and collects the waste water released by the factories that flow from 3 separate wastewater lines: general, sulphides and chromium.

Sevimli explains that thanks to an investment of 885.500 dollars it was possible to upgrade the plant with a bi-stage biological treatment system, equipped with the latest technology in the sector.

The president of the Association of Villakent Elele Kamuran Bakkal, said that the management of İZBA immediately informed the association of the birth of a new project to expand the treatment plant to remove the smells that had created inconvenience to residents of Villakent.
Subsequently, the officials and the İZBAŞ president offered the association the opportunity to examine the progress made. The rapid development of the project was pleasantly promoted by Bakkal, who pointed out that the treatment of smells finally offers a quiet and quality life to the residents of the neighbourhood.
